NEW ARTICLE – Train Smarter: Know Your Target Heart Rate Zone

I just published another article at Active.com titled Train Smarter: Know Your Target Heart Rate Zone. In this article, I describe the 5 training zones and discuss various strategies for calculating your zones including the age formula, the Karvonen heart rate reserve method and the lactate threshold method.
