Lose Weight WITHOUT Dieting: Tip #89: Frequent Restaurants That Provide Nutritional Information

Eating out in a healthful manner can be very difficult. Many restaurants are notorious for huge servings and for preparing meals with excessive amounts of sugar, sodium, cholesterol, saturated fat and trans fat. One of the most important steps you can take to improve your eating habits is to understand the nutritional content of your food. While this is relatively easy when preparing your own meals, it becomes a bit more complicated when eating out. One way to deal with this problem is to get in the habit of frequenting restaurants that provide nutritional information. This allows you to know what you are putting into your body. To determine if a particular restaurant provides nutritional information, type the name of that restaurant in your favorite Internet search engine along with the word “nutrition” (e.g., McDonald’s Nutrition). If they provide this information, you will be able to download a nutritional menu guide.

Cycle Log: Endurance Phase 2014 – Week 6

  1. Solid advice, and it’s something I tell the folks who visit my class, “It’s not always about the quantity, but about the quality of food you put in your system.” The worse it is, the less of it you want in your system. I get the nods of agreement only to find it’s something I need to stress again only a week or two later when results start dwindling. It’s tough, but it’s worth it when you see your people getting the results they came to you in mind with. Thanks for the tip about the online menus, definitely going to check that out myself right now!!
