Cycle Log: Competition Phase II – Week 12

Week 12 is the third week of the fourth mesocycle of my Competition Phase II for the 2013 racing season (click here for a detailed description of macrocycles, mesocycles and microcycles). Here are the actual workouts with the plan for the week of September 16-22, 2013 (click here to download my plan for Competition Phase II).

This is the second of my two recovery weeks. As I discussed last week, I decided to shut it down for the season after the Arizona State TTT and Tandem TT Championships. I did easy spinning this week and I feel much stronger. I still had lingering fatigue at the beginning of the week but by Saturday, I was fully recovered. I begin my Endurance Phase training plan for the 2014 race season on Monday. I am ready to go! As always, I’ll let you know how it goes. Have a great week!
