Lose Weight WITHOUT Dieting: Tip #78: Trade Mayo for Mustard

For my last weight loss tip, I suggested replacing regular salad dressing with a low-fat version. Similarly, you can replace mayonnaise with mustard on your sandwiches.  One tablespoon of Hellmann’s Real Mayonnaise has 90 calories that consist of 10 grams of fat (1.5 saturated).  Conversely, a tablespoon of French’s Classic Yellow Mustard has 0 calories. That’s right, zero, zip, nada!  If you currently consume one tablespoon of mayo each day, you’ll save 90 calories/day by switching to mustard. That’s 32,850 calories a year (almost 10 lbs) by making one simple swap!
