Actual 1.0 VO2 1.0 AR OFF 1.0 TT 1.0 AR 1.5 SS OFF 5.5

I had a very good week although I decided to skip the New Mexico/Texas Regional Time Trial Championships.  I have done this race the last two years and it is a great event; however, I am simply worn out.  Not as much physically as mentally.  I have hit a wall and lost interest in racing.  This happens every season around the beginning of September.  Part of it is the brutally hot summers we have here in the Arizona valley and the other part is the fact that I have been racing since January. I am more than ready for an extended break!  I’ll race one more time at the State TTT/Tandem Championships and call it a season.  The good news is I am near peak fitness.  I had a great VO2 Max Intervals session and an equally great Time Trial Intervals session. My last race is two weeks from today so I have a short (volume) but hard (intensity) week coming up.  As always, I’ll let you know how it goes.  Have a great week!
