Lose Weight WITHOUT Dieting: Tip #63 – Consider the Company You Keep

Have you ever heard the saying, “you are what you eat”?  Well here is another one: “you are the company you keep”.  This applies to many aspects of our lives but it is especially important if you are trying to live a healthy lifestyle.  You have a much better chance of eating properly, exercising and engaging in other healthy behaviors if the people around you are doing the same.  If your friends and family members are couch potatoes, chances are, you will be a coach potato.  If they are junk food junkies, chances are, you will eat a lot of junk food.  Conversely, if you hang out with people who exercise, you are more likely to be physically active.  If you spend your time with people who prepare healthy meals, you are more likely to eat well.  So pay attention to the company you keep!
