Cycle Log: Intensity Phase Week 13

Week 13 is the first week of the fifth mesocycle of my 2012 Intensity Phase (click here for a detailed description of macrocyles, mesocycles and microcycles).  Here are the actual workouts with the plan for the week of March 26 to April 1, 2012 (click here to download my plan for the Intensity Phase).

It was one of those weeks.  I had dead legs and could not do any hard riding at all. However, it’s understandable.  I didn’t realize it until I checked, but I have already ridden 118 miles more than at the same point last year (that’s a nearly 10% increase). I have participated in twice the number of races to this point (8 this year to 4 last year).  It’s no wonder I’m tired!  I took off Saturday and Sunday so hopefully, I’ll be good to go this week.  I’ll let you know how it goes.  Have a great week!
