10 Quick Tips for a Healthy 2012 – #7: Find a New Beverage

Last week, my quick tip for a healthy 2012 was to find a new food.  Along the same lines, you can also find a new beverage.  Select a new drink that will improve the nutrition content of your beverages.  As with a new food, make sure it is a reasonably healthy beverage and use it to replace a less nourishing drink.  Remember, you don’t have to completely eliminate your “unhealthy” drinks.  For example, if you currently drink two sodas a day, try to replace one of them with a more nutritious and lower calorie alternative.
