Lose Weight WITHOUT Dieting: Tip #52 – Join a Cycling Class

In my previous weight loss tip, I suggested taking an exercise class and offered several examples.  One of these examples is a cycling class.  Cycling or spin classes offer a fun way to burn calories, improve your cardiovascular system and strengthen your legs while making new friends.  There are a variety of cycling classes available, some of which provide both lower and upper body conditioning.  Classes are typically offered at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.  Most importantly, spin classes make you work.  You will typically burn between 400 and 1,000 calories during a 1-hour class, depending on the level of workout intensity.  So if you are looking for a way to lose weight and improve your aerobic fitness, consider joining a cycling class.
