Lose Weight WITHOUT Dieting: Tip #32 – Replace Butter, Margarine and Cooking Fats with Olive Oil

Olive oil offers a host of nutritional benefits.  It consists primarily of monounsaturated fat, which decreases your LDL (bad) cholesterol and increases your HDL (good) cholesterol.  Olive oil also contains natural phytochemicals such as phenols, flavonoids and lignans, which are antioxidants that may reduce the risk of some cancers.  Remember, although olive oil offers these advantages, it is still a fat so it should be eaten in moderation.
