Lose Weight WITHOUT Dieting: Tip #30 – Eat Two Servings of Fruits

Last week, I discussed the benefits of consuming a vegetable-rich diet such as reduced risk of heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes and certain types of cancer.  As with vegetables, fruits will provide you with an enjoyable, nutrient-dense food that offers numerous health benefits.  So identify fruits you enjoy and eat at least two servings per day.  For the greatest nutritional value, try to eat a diverse range of both fruits and vegetables on a regular basis.  The simplest way to do this is to choose produce when it is in season.  Use websites such as Fruits and Veggies More Matters and Fruit Seasons to find out when your favorites are ready to eat.
