Lose Weight WITHOUT Dieting: Tip #15 – Start Each Meal with a Serving of Fruit

Whether it is breakfast, lunch, dinner or a snack between meals, fruit is always an excellent choice.  Starting every meal with a serving of your favorite fruit serves two purposes.  First, it will help you get your recommended daily allowance of fruits (visit MyPyramid.gov and click on “My Pyramid Plan” to determine your daily needs for fruits, vegetables, grains, milk, and meat and beans).  For me, that’s 2.5 cups daily so I find it very helpful to eat a little fruit with most meals.  Second, by starting with a piece of fruit, you will feel full more quickly and eat less at every meal.  In addition, the fiber in the fruit will slow your digestion so you feel sated for a longer period of time and are less likely to get hungry before your next meal.

  1. Just a question..
If someone has put on weight (2.5 stones to be precise), is that the result for their bottoms getting bigger too ??
Or is that contributed by completely different factors ? Like spending too much time on a chair at a desk ?
The waist, hip, bottom and stomach areas are all affected simultaneously by the weight increase ?
    Thankyou. Much Appreciated.
