Lose Weight WITHOUT Dieting: Tip #14 – Pack a Lunch

It is not easy to eat out in a healthful manner.  While there are steps you can take to improve restaurant dining (I’ll discuss these steps in future posts), you have much better control over the nutritional content of your food if you prepare it yourself.  So get in the habit of “brown-bagging” it on a regular basis.  You don’t have to pack a lunch every day.  You can significantly improve your eating habits by eliminating 2 or 3 restaurant meals each week.  In addition to your lunch, you can pack several healthy snacks to nibble on throughout the day.  The good news is not only will you eat better, you will probably save money as well.
